Backrgound uses thin layers on oil-based ink overlaid with a roller. Then yellow streak uses Akua ink laid on with a brush. Printing was done using an etching press with dampened paper. This led to the bleeding of the Akua ink to produce the random splurge. I find this interesting, but more now like Clyfford Still than Rothko.
